Dominique is a first-year M.Sc. student in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour. Prior to coming to McMaster, she completed a B.Sc. in Neuroscience at McGill University, where she worked in the Music Perception and Cognition Laboratory under the supervision of Stephen McAdams. Her independent research project focused on the effect of spectral centroid on psychophysiological and behavioural measures of emotion in orchestral music listeners. She has also worked with Brain Awareness Montreal as a Scientific Café committee member, where she assisted in organizing evenings bringing together researchers and the general public to promote dialogue on a variety of topics related to neuroscience. She is interested in the role of amplitude envelope in spatial hearing and auditory scene analysis. |
