Summary
This application accompanies the publication Understanding Feature Importance in Musical Works: Unpacking Predictive Contributions to Cluster Analyses published in Music & Science. The app enables exploring feature relationships in the cluster analyses presented within the article.
- To interact with the application, you can click on various elements using your mouse.
- Drop-down menus let you cycle between two- and three-cluster analyses, and display different features on the x and y axes of the plot in the right panel.
- Check box inputs allow selecting specific performances or clusters to display.
- To hear individual renditions, simply click on the corresponding key signature (letter name).
Compatibility
Audio files use the OGG format and may not play correctly in some web browsers.
